South Eastern Railway Jobs Cell Notification September October Recruitment 2012

         South Eastern Railway has released Employment Notice for filling up posts 2461 in Various Categories. South Eastern Railway Cell  invites applications from the candidates who are the citizens of India. Pay Scale for Group-D posts in Northern Frontier Railway :

            Pay Band – 1 of  5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800 (UR,SC,ST,OBE & PWD) on South Eastern Railway Excluding Ex-Servicemen quota.

Educational Qualification for Group – D posts :

            Candidate should be Minimum 10^th Class pass or  ITI  or  Equivalent on the date of application. Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting results of final examination of 10^th class or ITI or Equivalent are not eligible. The Academic qualification must be from recognized Institution/Board, otherwise candidate will be REJECTED.

Age Limit for Group – D :

            Age limit will be 18 years to 33 years and will be  reckoned as on 01-01-2013. The upper age limit for PWD (PH) candidates are 43, 46 and 48 years as on 01-01-2013 for UR, OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively. The upper age limit will be relaxed as under RRC rules.

 Examination Fee for the Post of Group D :

            The examination fee Rs. 40/- for the unreserved and OBC candidates. The candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD, women, Minority and other economically backward classes are fully exempted for payment of examination fees.

         Fee should be paid in the form of crossed D.D from SBI or any other Nationalized Bank or crossed IPO from  any Post Office in favour of  FA & CAO, South Eastern Railway, 11 Garden Reach Road, Kolkata – 700043 and payable at Kolkata.

Selection Procedure for the Post Group D  :

      The selection procedure will consists of written examination. Candidates who are qualified in the written examination, candidates will be shortlisted for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & medical test also.
