West Central Railway released job notification in January to Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2012-13 for filling up 02 (TWO) posts each in Group D category. West Central Railway cell invites applications from candidates who are Interested to work with Government sector. SCOUTING / GUIDING QUALIFICATIONS :
a) A President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover
OR
Himalayan Wood Badge Holder
OR
A Pre-HWB trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide Leader / Captain
b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active member.
c) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level.
OR
d) Should have a good record of participation in Scouts / Guide activities at unit/District Level.
Note: The certificate of Scout / Guide should be issued prior to the closing date of this notification. The Participation certification will not be considered as eligibility for 3 (a) above.
Eligibility Criteria for West Central Railway Recruitment Cell :
10th pass / ITI / equivalent from recognized board.
Age Limit for the Post Scouts & Guides Quota :
The age limit 18-33 years as on 01-01-2013.
The lower and upper age limit indicated will be reckoned as on 01-01-2013. The upper age limit is relaxable as under subject to submission of requisite certificate.
a) By 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
b) By 3 years for OBC Candidates
Fee for the post to apply :
Candidate have to pay Rs.40/- IPO/ Bank Draft in favour of
(i) Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Jabalpur payable at Jabalpur for Jabalpur Division.
(ii) Sr Divisional Finance Manager, Bhopal payable at Bhopal for Bhopal Division.
(iii) Sr Divisional Finance Manager, Kota payable at Kota for Kota Division.
Econ. Backward Class means the candidate whose family income is lass than Rs 50,000/ per annum. The income certificate issued by DM / SDM/ Tahsildar is required.
